How does the online Walmart application work? ›

You will fill in your personal details, job experience, availability, etc. on Walmart's online career center. You will not be able to upload a resume when applying to Walmart's store jobs, so don't bother making one. Immediately after your application, you will be requested to take an assessment test.

Your application will remain in our system for 60 days, so you will not receive a notification if you are not selected or if a job has been filled. We will continue to review your application for positions that match your interests.

Here is one important thing: when you take the assessment test, you will want to know whether you have passed the test or not. So, here we'll let you know that if you've received the green notification, it means you have passed the test, or if you received the red notification, it means, unfortunately, you have failed.

Walmart does not hire just about anyone. They look into how long the record on your background check is and what kind of check it is. They will not hire you if you have theft, fraud or any form of dishonesty on your record. Regardless if it is a Misdemeanor.

How could I get rehired at Walmart if I missed too many days the first time I was employed?
